Dr. Dana E. Knox, Professor of Chemical Engineering in the Otto H. York Department of Chemical, Biological and Pharmaceutical Engineering and Associate Provost for Undergraduate Programs at the New Jersey Institute of Technology passed away on Wednesday, September 24, 2008. Dr. Knox was born in upstate New York, and received BS (1977), MS (1978) and PhD (1982) degrees from Rensselaer Polytechnic University in Troy, New York. He began his career on the faculty at NJIT in 1983, and he joined the Provost’s Office at NJIT in 2004. This year he would have celebrated his 25-year anniversary at NJIT.
